Underwood 460 Rowland Ammunition 185 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point: The .45 Super cartridge is dimensionally identical to the .45 ACP and .45 ACP +P, designed for use in .45 ACP semi-auto pistols that have been modified with a reinforced recoil spring, a shock buffer, and other upgrades. While some stock .45 ACP +P firearms, like the Glock 21, HK USP, or full-sized steel 1911 models, can fire .45 Super, using it in unmodified pistols may lead to increased wear due to the higher pressure and slide velocity of this round.

Underwood Ammo Jacketed Hollow Point rounds stand out in performance, utilizing Nosler Assured Stopping Power (ASP) projectiles. These bullets feature deep skives that enhance expansion for versatile use without compromising accuracy or reliable feeding. The skives in the jacket mouth create controlled reliefs, enabling consistent and rapid expansion for effective energy transfer and stopping power while minimizing the risk of over-penetration.

The nickel-plated brass casings offer significant benefits, including smoother feeding in all firearm actions, improved corrosion resistance compared to standard brass, better aesthetics, and easier cleanup for reloading. Unlike traditional brass, nickel-plated cases resist tarnish from exposure to leather, moisture, and other metals.

As with all Underwood Ammo rounds, flash-suppressed powder is used to maintain your vision in low-light situations, should you need to use your firearm. This high-performance ammunition is also field-tested in popular real-world firearms to reflect the elements you’d experience.

This is newly manufactured, non-corrosive ammunition in boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases.
